JEET Stands for "Joint Efforts for Educational Transformation". It is an all-India alliance of NGOs engaged in Education (Sports and Vocational included) ready to work with Governments, Organizations, Institutions, and Individuals to eradicate inequality and promote quality, and inclusion in the Indian education system. We provide links to free videos to the disadvantaged groups up to standard XII. Visit us at www.jeet.in.net
The Accha Limbu Education Center endeavors to inspire children to develop self-esteem, enjoy learning, imbibe citizenship/ ethical values, and, inject a positive can-do attitude. These economically disadvantaged learners are our future and, RKSSNGO runs the following for them:
The pre-school of RKSSNGO has kids from the community who pay a nominal fee, and learn from teachers trained in Early Child Education (ECE) and the support staff. Students enroll in play school, nursery, LKG and UKG. Free uniforms are provided to the children. The center has a spacious hall, and safe, age appropriate play equipment. Picnics, fancy shows, festivals, and annual day are celebrated with pomp and splendor.
The RKSSNGOs tuition initiative is a free facility for local children to learn in a non-threatening, inspiring environment. Daily in the morning and afternoon hours, local children get academic support from RKSS teachers. Some of these children become Balsevaks and help in the activities. VYASA (Vivekananda for Youth and Social Action) volunteers teach STEM subjects and English. We have embarked on a long journey to enable each one to realize their infinite potential.
We have a good collection of 2000 books in our library and we hope these books will help school children from municipal schools to pick up a healthy reading habit. Our reading room gives them a quiet place to read and absorb many a good ideas from these books. Or, just take the books home for free.

Sports mainly Mallakhamb and indoor games are the focus. In a space starved city like Mumbai we have created a center of excellence in Mallakhamb – an Indian sport that originated in Maharashtra. Mallakhamb is a holistic sport that combines the sheer grace of yoga, with the dexterity of gymnastics to produce a sound mind in a sound body. Our fitness center has produced many a winner in Mallakhamb. Some of the recent winners in the Mumbai city-level competitions are:
Twinning program, Spoken English classes, Computer training, Citizenship Values, Summer/ Winter school camps, Career Mentoring by accomplished mentors, etc.
“
I have the highest respect and admiration for RKSS’ work with the weakest sections of the city in Mumbai. Their work is inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s exhortations of Karma Yoga and true religion.
“
I know RKSS very well. I like their works in the slums and their ideals based on the throughts of Swamy Vivekananda.
